VIDEO: Meet Erica Caldwell
Junior (2008-2009): Participated in 12 games, starting four...got her first career start against Baylor (11/14) and grabbed three rebounds...gathered five rebounds coming off the bench for the first time against UCF (11/22)...scored 13 points and six rebounds and went five-of-eight from the line against South Carolina State (12/29)...knocked down another five free throws while scoring nine points in the win over South Alabama (1/1)...missed the final 16 games to focus on academics.
Spartanburg Methodist College (SC): Named Region X Pre-season and post-season All-American after averaging 18.1 points per game her sophomore year (2007-08)...led the Lady Pioneers to a Region X Championship...earned team MVP honors in 2005-06 after leading her team in scoring...scored just under 1,000 points at Spartanburg in her career...named to the Dean's list in 2006.
High School: Attended Ridge View High School...led her team in scoring and was named Team MVP her senior year.
Personal: Accounting Major...Born July 15, 1988 in Cleveland, OH...daughter of Marcus Caldwell and Beverlee Burton, who currently serves in the United States Army.
