About Boyland: Begins her second and final season at FAU after joining the team last year as a transfer.

Junior (2001-02): Played in 31 games and started eight...averaged 10.4 points and 4.7 rebounds...finished second on the team in points scored and points per game...eight starts came early in the season before being put in the role of being one of the first players off the bench...averaged over 21 minutes per game...scored 10 or more points 16 times...had a career-high 22 points December 1 against Samford...scored 19 points January 5 at Stetson...made game-winning shots in 78-76 win over Jacksonville State December 3 and in 68-67 at Campbell January 26...grabbed career-high 10 rebounds in season-opener against Penn State and again December 3 against Jacksonville State...third on the team in three-pointers made...connected from long range twice in five games...had career-highs in assists (4) and steals (6) in January 12 game against Troy State.

Junior College: Northwest Mississippi College in Senatobia, MS....averaged 13.0 points and 8.1 rebounds as a sophomore...named all-conference and all-region...played in same Mississippi All-Star game as teammate Tamica Pierce.

High School: Attended Bolton High School in Arlington, TN...coach was Dennis Miller...freshman MVP...named MVP and all-tournament at Missouri Lady Jays Classic as a junior...all-state as a senior...named to all-tournament team at district and region as a senior...also played volleyball in high school.
