Will Neuner and the Owls will face 13 teams that enter 2013 with national or regional rankings

Boca Raton, FL - The Florida Atlantic University men’s tennis team will once again play a competitive spring schedule, with 13 opposing teams entering the 2013 season with national or regional rankings.
The Owls will begin the season by hosting the FAU Invitational from Friday, January 4 through Sunday, January 6. Participating in the tournament will be Indiana University of the Big Ten Conference, University of Louisville of the Big East Conference and Radford University.
The dual match portion of the season begins at in-state rival USF on Saturday, January 19. The busy first month continues with a match against Southern Methodist University on Friday, January 25 at 1 p.m. in Fort Myers and Florida A&M University on Sunday, January 27 in Orlando.
FAU travels to Florida State University on Saturday, February 2 at 10 a.m. The team opens its home dual match season against Sun Belt Conference rival Troy University on Sunday, February 3 at noon. There will be a road match at UCF on Friday, February 8 at 2 p.m. before neutral site contests with Hampton University in Daytona Beach on Friday, January 15 and Oklahoma State University of the Big 12 Conference on Saturday, January 23 in Fort Myers.
March is filled with eight home matches, including a return trip to Boca Raton by nationally ranked Indiana University on Wednesday, March 13 at 2 p.m. The team will also host Georgia State University on Wednesday, March 20 at 2 p.m. and Brown University on Monday, March 25 at 2 p.m.
Florida Atlantic will travel to the Sun Belt Shootout in Murfreesboro, Tennessee from Saturday, March 30 through Sunday, March 31. The season will close with the Sun Belt Conference Championships from Wednesday, April 17 through Saturday, April 20 in Lafayette, Louisiana.
All home matches will be played at Patch Reef Park, 1200 Yamato Road in Boca Raton.
