Final Stats

BOCA RATON, FL - Marc Abdelnour and Olivier Sajous represented Florida Atlantic University's tennis team at the 2007 University of Texas Invitational last weekend.

Many of the country's best were present at the event and FAU used the weekend tournament to measure itself against national competition. Both Abdelnour and Sajous advanced through to the round of 16. Sajous pushed forward to the semis where he fell to the tournament's eventual winner, Ed Corrie from Texas.

Abdelnour and Sajous also teamed up for doubles competition, but fell in the round of 32 to Geoff Embry and Rick Mortera from Oregon.

The Owls will use the remainder of the fall semester to concentrate on academic, conditioning, and individual work prior to the season opener at Florida State on January 12, 2008.
