Sophomore Richard Meade won in singles and doubles action in Monday's match against Brown

Boca Raton, FL - The Florida Atlantic University men's tennis team lost a 5-2 home match to the Ivy League's Brown University on Monday, March 25 at Patch Reef Park.
Sophomore Richard Meade earned victories in singles and doubles action to lead the Owls. In doubles, Meade teamed with sophomore Sean Bacha to pick up an 8-6 victory on the third court. Later, he defeated Lucas Da Silveira 10-5 in a third-set tiebreaker to win at No. 6 singles. Meade won the opening set 6-4, but Da Silveira answered with a 7-5 win in the second set.
Freshman Andrei Morin-Kougoucheff rallied to win his singles match in three sets on the third court. After dropping the opening set, he forced the deciding set with a 6-2 score in the second frame. Morin-Kougoucheff won the third-set tiebreaker over Brandon Burke by a 10-5 score.
FAU returns to the court on Wednesday, March 27 at 2 p.m. when it hosts Siena University in the home regular-season finale at Patch Reef Park.
