BOCA RATON, Fla.- Florida Atlantic men's tennis defeated Nebraska-Omaha 4-0 on Wednesday. The win FAU's fifth consecutive improved the Owls overall record to 12-7 on the season.

FAU was able to win the doubles point early in the match. FAU senior Richard Meade and FAU freshman Zandrix Acob defeated Nathan Greteman and Colin Buckley 6-2 in the No. 1 position. FAU senior Robert Dubuque and sophomore Stephan Burnett defeated Marko Minic and John Ellis 6-5. FAU sophomore Gerald Nickerson and freshman Ignacio Jimenez defeated Erik Anderson and Ignace Warson 6-3.

In singles Andrei Morin-Kougoucheff defeated Colin Buckley when Buckley retired in the first set. FAU senior Will Neuner continued his strong season defeating Erik Anderson 6-1, 6-0 to improve to 11-6 on the season. FAU freshman Ignacio Jimenez defeated Ignace Warson 6-1, 6-1 to secure the win for the Owls.

FAU returns to the court for their second match of the day at 1:30 against Brown at home at Patch Reef Park.
