BOCA RATON, Fla. -- The Florida Atlantic University men's tennis team took down Georgetown 7-0 and Valparaiso 6-1, going undefeated in singles play on Monday.


Versus Georgetown
No. 49 Remi Chancerel/Gabriel Sidney handled Peter Beatty and Mac Rechan 6-2 to open doubles play
Jason Legall and Ignacio Garcia quickly sealed the doubles point for the Owls with a 6-4 victory over Ian Witmer and Marco Lam
Chancerel quickly finished his singles match 6-0, 6-1 over Beatty to double the advantage
Garcia followed suit with his 6-1, 6-3 win over Michael Chen in No. 4 singles
Legall topped Mark Militzer 6-0, 7-5 to clinch the match
Ignacio Jimenez beat Connor Lee 7-5, 6-2 to move to 3-1 on the year
Gabriel Sidney improved to 10-2 on the season with his 6-2, 7-6 win over Rohan Kamdar
Thomas Bugeaud finished off the match with a 7-6, 6-4 win over Lam

Versus Valparaiso
Legall/Garcia topped Chad Kissell/Brandon Ancona 6-3 to open the match
Chancerel/Sidney fell 6-4 before Thomas Guy/Anthony Schohn slipped 7-6 as Valpo took the point
Bugeaud made quick work of Valpo's Gabriel Carvajal 6-0, 6-0 to tie the match
Garcia continued the comeback in a 6-1, 6-1 win over Garrett Gardner
Chancerel beat Kissell 6-2, 6-2 in the No. 1 slot
Legall fended off Kweisi Kenyatte 6-3, 7-5
Jimenez beat Franklin Brozovich 6-1, 6-4
Sidney completed the singles sweep in a 6-4, 5-7, 11-9 marathon win over Ancona
