Fort Myers, FL - The Florida Atlantic University men's tennis team lost a hard-fought 4-2 match to Oklahoma State University of the Big 12 Conference on Saturday afternoon in Fort Myers.

Earning singles victories were senior Jose Fantova and freshman Matthew Samberg.

Fantova rallied after dropping the opening set to defeat Chris Haworth by 6-3 scores in the second and third sets of the No. 1 match. Then, Samberg earned a straight-set 6-3, 6-2 win in the No. 4 match.

Sophomore Robert Dubuque was leading OSU's Trevor Horstmann 3-1 in the third set when the match was halted when the team match was decided.

FAU, now 2-5 for the season, is scheduled to play at Stetson University on Sunday, February 24 in DeLand.
