NASHVILLE, TN - Florida Atlantic University's men's tennis team traveled to Music City for two matches the first at No. 63 ranked Vanderbilt.

The Owls stormed onto the court to take the first point, the doubles point. Freshman Corey Smith teamed with Karol Szmurlo to take the no. 1 double match 8-6. FAU dropped no. 2 doubles but captured the point with a victory at no. 3 with an Eddie Majche and Daniel Vardag 8-4 victory.

Szmurlo picked up a second point and remained perfect on the day with a 7-6(8-10), 6-3 victory over Vijay Paul. FAU's final point of the afternoon was captured by Olivier Sajous at no. 1 singles. The straight 6-2, 6-4 victory kept the freshman perfect in 2007 dual patch play.
