West Palm Beach, FL - The men's tennis team at Florida Atlantic University opened up duel match play by falling at Northwood University 8-1, Tuesday afternoon. The match was played by NAIA rules since it was on Northwood's home court. Junior F.J. Schofield notched the Owls' only point with a win at no. 3.

Schofield dropped NU's Fabricio Corrca in straight sets, 6-1, 6-1.

The Owls next take on Miami in Coral Gables, FL, 6:00 pm, January 30.
