As a junior 2005-2006:
• captured dual matches against both Florida State and Miami
• ended the year 8-16 on the year and finished his season with a victory at the A-Sun championships
• played two through five

As a sophomore 2004-2005:
• Posted a 13-8 record overall and an 11-8 record in dual match play
• Was 4-3 a no. 5 and 7-5 at no. 6
• 1-10 in doubles play
• Season high was a victory at UM and two victories after dropping the first set

As a freshman 2003-2004:
• second on the team in singles wins after posting a 15-7 record
• named Atlantic Sun Conference All-Freshman
• played with five different doubles partners on his way to a 5-10 record
• highlight of the season was the opportunity to play alongside his brother Christian Paiz, who graduated in '04 from FAU

• held a 622 ITF Junior Tennis Raning (Aug. '03)
• held a 564 doubles raning (Jan. '01)
• earned a no. 2 national rank in Guatemala
• played junior Davis Cup, a position he and his brother Chrsitian, who held the no. 1 rank, trained extensively to play.

• won the All-Broward Athlete award
• was a member the Florida high school state championship team as a senior
• was a State, District and Regional Champion in doubles no. 2
• also attended Valle Verde School in Guatemala and won the High School National Championship for 18 and under
• traveled around Central America and the Caribbean playing ITF Junior Tournaments
• attended PTA/IFT Tennis Academy and Gary Kesl Tennis Academy in Florida
