Why I Chose FAU: "We are close to the beach, great weather and great talent."
As a junior (2007-08): Was a perfect 7-0 at no. 6 singles and was 12-3 on the year with a 10-2 dual match record...worked with three partners for a 13-7 mark at two and three doubles...was 4-3 in dual match doubles play...tallied an eight-match win streak that was interrupted with two losses and then finished the year on a four-match win streak.
As a sophomore (2006-2007): Posted a 16-11 and was 10-8 in dual matches...played 14 matches at No. 5 for a 9-5 record, finished 9-5 at No. 5 while earning a singles victory against no. 71 Furman and no. 43 MTSU...played 22 doubles matches with Daniel Vardag in all three spots, was 2-0 at No. 1 and 6-2 at No. 3 doubles
As a freshman 2005-2006 at Stetson:
Atlantic Sun All-Freshman team member...13-4 singles record, 15-5 doubles record.
Tennis: ranked as a top-20 Florida junior
High School: Played for John Bergstrum at Sebastian River High School where he was a three-time All-Conference selection...academically, earned academic all-conference honors each of his three seasons...three-year member of the honor roll and posted a 3.3 GPA upon graduation and was recognized for the best senior physics project.
Personal: Business and finance major...son of Ed and Marcia Majcher...born April 11, 1987, in Miami Beach, FL.
