Men's Tennis Adds Ricardo Gonzalez to Staff

Gonzalez was team captain of a national championship team

Dan Mork has been named an assistant coach for the Florida Atlantic University men's tennis program. Mork is a former Division I player, accomplished tennis coach and video consulting business owner.

Mork was a four-year starter at the University of Hartford from 1996-2000 and helped lead the team to three American East Conference semifinal appearances. Mork earned all-conference honors in 1997 and served as team captain during his junior and senior seasons.

He graduated from Hartford in 2000 and has served as the Director of Tennis at The Wayland Swim and Tennis Club in Wayland, MA and the Assistant Head Pro at the Boston Sports Club in Lexington, MA.

Before joining the Owls, Mork was coaching at the Fort Lauderdale Tennis Club.

Mork started his own video consulting business in 2009 to help tennis players asses corrections of all levels. He is consulting with the Sunrise Tennis Academy and works with numerous high-level juniors and collegiate players.

Mork still plays competitive tennis, participating in two national United States Tennis Association tournaments in the last five years. He is also active in local USTA league and tournaments.
