Florida Atlantic men's tennis took on Liberty on Thursday in the Owls home opener, FAU came away with the victory over the Flames 4-0. FAU was dominant sweeping both the singles and doubles point.
Florida Atlantic men's tennis (1-5) took on Georgia Southern (2-2) Saturday in Ft. Myers and loss in a close match 4-3. The Owls lost the doubles point but fought hard in singles coming up just one point short of their second win on the season.
Florida Atlantic men's tennis (1-4) team traveled to Ft. Myers to take on Florida Gulf Coast (2-1) on Friday. The Owls pushed four of five singles matchups to three sets and the doubles point came down to 10-8 tiebreaker.
Florida Atlantic men's tennis (1-3) traveled to Jacksonville to play No. 68 ranked UNF (6-2). The Owls playing their fourth consecutive match against a ranked opponent came close to beating UNF before losing 4-3.
Florida Atlantic Men's Tennis (1-2) took on the third ranked in opponent in three matches facing No. 52 Miami, (1-0) in Coral Gables on Sunday. The Owls coming off a victory over No. 70 UCF looked good early and won the doubles point to start the match.
