Senior forward Darnell King has scored five goals to lead the Owls this fall

Boca Raton, FL - The Florida Atlantic University men's soccer team will search for its first Mid-American Conference victory against the University of Buffalo on Saturday, October 29, at 7 p.m., at FAU Soccer Stadium, 777 Glades Road, Boca Raton campus.

The Owls stand 0-3-1 in MAC play after a 1-0 setback at Northern Illinois University on October 23. Overall, the team has a 5-6-2 record for the season.

Senior forward Darnell King ranks third in the conference with five goals and stands fourth with 13 points. Sophomore forward Lukas Simons has added two goals, while seven other players have each chipped in one goal this fall.

In net, junior goalkeeper Jeremy Crumpton stands second in the MAC with 69 saves. He has posted a shutout against Howard University on September 23.

Buffalo stands 2-2 in conference play and is 7-7-1 on the season after a 5-2 loss on October 21 to defending national champion University of Akron. The Bulls are led by Andy Tiedt, who has scored five goals, and Joey Merlo, with four goals. Patrick Ryan had chipped in four assists, while goalkeeper Jonathan Viscosi leads the league with 75 saves.
