Men's Soccer Hosts Charlotte Saturday at 7 p.m.

BOCA RATON, Fla. -- The Florida Atlantic University men's soccer team returns to Conference USA action as it hosts Charlotte on Saturday, Oct. 14 at 7 p.m. at the FAU Men's Soccer Stadium. Both teams come into the matchup fighting for position on the C-USA standings.

The Owls (1-9, 1-4 C-USA) currently sit in seventh place in the league while Charlotte (4-3-3, 1-1-2 C-USA) is perched in fifth place, just two points ahead of FAU. The Owls hold a two-point advantage over UAB and South Carolina, heading into the final weeks of the season before the top seven teams qualify for the C-USA tournament.

The 49ers are coming off of a 1-0 win over Radford, snapping a four-game streak without a victory. Charlotte will be looking for its first win on the road while the Owls battle for their first home victory of the season.The 49ers took last year's matchup 4-0 in Charlotte.
