The Florida Atlantic University men's soccer team will host its first two home matches of the season this weekend.

The Owls will be looking to kickstart their offense, which has been held scoreless through the first three matches of the season.

"We definitely need to increase our offensive production," said head coach Kos Donev."Hopefully, being in familiar surroundings will help us relax and let us play our game."

Defense has been a bright spot for the Owls, holding two of their first three opponents to just one goal behind the stellar play of freshman keeper Phillip Lamarre.

"Phillip has done a great job in goal which has given us the hope and confidence we need to become more of an attacking threat," coach Donev says.

FAU will host two soccer doubleheaders this weekend. The men host Mercer at 5 p.m. Friday followed by the women's soccer team playing Miami at 7:30. On Sunday, the men will face Binghamton at noon, then the women close out the action against Stetson at 2 p.m.
