King Makes Professional Debut in Strikers' Season-Opening Victory

FORT LAUDERDALE - Former Florida Atlantic soccer star Darnell King made his professional debut on Saturday in the Fort Lauderdale Strikers' season-opening win.

The newcomer checked in in the 75th minute as the first substitution off the bench for the victorious Strikers. The team defeated FC Edmonton 1-0.

King and the Strikers are back in action Saturday, April 14, again at home at Lockhart Stadium. They will host Minnesota Stars FC.
