The Bisons would take the lead 10 minutes later when Ben Page crossed the ball from the far corner to Denis Kitzinger. Kitzinger's shot snuck past FAU keeper Anders Granstad for his fifth goal of the year.
FAU would claw its way back in the 32nd minute when Josh Garbee got the ball at the 40-yard line, ran past a defender to the 25-yard line and fired a shot that sailed over the head of Murphy to tie the game 2-2.
The final goal of the half proved to be the game winner. Tyler Johnson passed to Nathan Busey, who's shot got by Granstad for the 3-2 lead. The goal was Bussey's first of the season.
