Albuquerque, N.M. -- A pair of goals in the final minutes lifted New Mexico to a 3-1 win over the Florida Atlantic University men's soccer team Saturday night in Conference USA play.
The Owls (1-8, 1-4 C-USA) were held to five shots while the Lobos (7-3-1, 2-1-1 C-USA) took 12 shots.
FAU's Luis Aranzazu made a pair of saves in goal while being tagged with each of the three goals.
NM's Matthew Constant found the net for the first time this year in the 37th minute after heading in a free kick from Devin Boyce to put the Lobos up 1-0.
Less than 10 minutes into the second half, the Owls responded when Carlos Sanchis netted his team-leading fifth goal on a 21-yard shot to the upper 90 thanks to an assist by Aaron Laranetto to even the match.

As the Owls were trying to re-tie the contest, NM's Boyce scored an unassisted goal in the final minute of play to ice the contest.
The Owls will remain on the road to face No. 7 Louisville on Tuesday, Oct. 10 at 7 p.m. before returning home to host Charlotte on Saturday, Oct. 14.
