Men's Soccer Drops 4-0 Decision to Western Michigan

KALAMAZOO, MI – The Florida Atlantic men’s soccer team dropped to 0-4 in Mid-American Conference play as they lost Sunday to Western Michigan, 4-0.

The Broncos got two goals in each half, first denting the scoreboard in the 24th minute. They outshot the Owls 10-3, and had six shots on goal to the visitor’s one.

Sean Lewis, the winning goalkeeper, saved an attempt by Karol Chorak, the only Owls’ SOG. The Broncos were turned away twice by FAU keeper Jeremy Crumpton.

The Owls (1-9-1) have a week until their next match, at home, against out-of-conference foe Howard. Kickoff time has been moved to after the women’s soccer match in the Sunday doubleheader, and will now start at 2:30.
