Florida Atlantic University men's soccer team (2-4-0) suffered its second loss in a row falling to James Madison (4-2-0) in the opening round of the FIU/Umbro Classic. After a scoreless first half, the Duke's Andrew Rutledge scored at 64:26 for the only goal of the match and the 1-0 win.

Florida Atlantic goalkeeper, Jonas Kolstad recorded a season-high 15 saves but it was not enough as the Owls were out shot 28-10 on the night.

In the final seconds of the match, FAU was not able to capitalize on a Bjorn Masson point-blank shot at goal as Josh Kovglenko collected the ball as time expired.

Florida Atlantic will play host Florida International at 3 pm on Sunday in the second-round of the Classic
