Jamilloux earned his fourth consecutive home win recording three total saves

BOCA RATON, Fla. - Florida Atlantic University's men's soccer team earned their fourth straight victory, defeating the Jacksonville University Dolphins 2-1 on Friday night.
FAU keeper Theo Jamilloux gave up a goal to Jacksonville in the eighth minute of the game, but the Owls were able to come back just before the end of the first period. FAU had only three shots and one corner kick in the first half.
Ryan Price scored the equalizer goal against Jacksonville off of an assist by Sean Gossman. The goal was Price's fifth for the season as he remains the Owls' leading scorer. The junior is the reigning Conference USA Offensive Player of the Week.
In the 36th minute of the game, Jason Fitzgerald entered the game and his play would lead to the eventual win by the Owls. Fitzgerald shot two of Owls' three total shots for the second period.
Early in the second half, he attempted a shot on goal that was saved by Jacksonville's keeper. Only eight minutes later, Deniz Bozkurt and Price were credited with the game winning assists as Fitzgerald scored beating Jacksonville's keeper high.
The Dolphins tallied two shots and six corner kicks, four coming within a two-minute span, but were unable to score against FAU. Jamilloux earned his fourth consecutive home win recording three total saves.
FAU improved its record for the season to 4-0-1. The men's soccer team will host the UNF on Sunday, Sept. 22 at 2 p.m. before traveling to play conference opponent UAB on Sunday, Oct. 6 at 2:30 p.m. Live stats of Sunday's match against UNF will be available at fausports.com.
