Freshman (2002): Played and started 14 games...finished the season with a 1.25 goals-against average, two shutouts and a 5-6-2 win/loss/tie record...became the second player in team history to be named to the Atlantic Sun All-Conference Second-Team and A-Sun All-Freshman team in the same season...recorded his first career shutout against Western Michigan in 0-0 tie in the season opener (8/30)...recorded his second shutout in a 2-0 win over Hartwick College (11/1)...saved a season-high 13 shots in a 1-0 loss to the University of Wisconsin (9/1)...finished second among all A-Sun goalies in GAA and finished seventh in saves with 74...earned A-Sun Player-of-the-Week honors for the week of October 14 after recording 10 saves and allowing one goal in two games...although he received credit for only two shutouts, he was a part of all four of the team's shutouts...missed three games due to injury.
