DeLand, FL - Florida Atlantic University senior men's golfer Justin Thompson tied for seventh individually to lead the team in its fall finale on Tuesday in the Holiday Inn Express/Hatter Invitational in DeLand. The Owls finished seventh with a 927 score over the 54-hole event.

Thompson carded a three-under-par 69 score in the second round and finished with a 222-stroke score. He had a four-over-par 76 during Tuesday's final round.

Senior Michael Baskovich had a 30th-place finish with a 233 score after posting a 76 on Tuesday. Junior Clint Wilhelm had three rounds in the 70s to finish in 34th place with a 235 composite score. Freshman Andrew Mangini and Lawrence Hoch rounded out the team's score for the event.

Florida Gulf Coast University picked up the team tournament title with an 870 score.
