Nashville, TN -The Florida Atlantic University men's golf team shot a 610 (308/302) in the first two rounds of the Belmont Invitational Monday, finishing the first day of the competition in 14th place. Freshman Michael Berger finished highest among FAU golfers with a two-round score of 152 (75/77).
Sophomore Tommy Suri (81/72) and junior Kevin Clark (72/81) managed to finish just a stroke behind Berger with matching 153's. Freshmen Marco Morales (81/74) and Joong Jo (80/79) completed the field for the Owls.
The final round of the tournament will be played on Tuesday.
