Ocala, FL -The Florida Atlantic University men's golf team wrapped up the final day of the El Diablo Intercollegiate Sunday, finishing the tournament 15th out of 19 teams. The Owls, who shot a 955 over three rounds, came up with their best team effort in the second round with a 315.
Sophomore Ben Gardner shot the best single round (72) and was the top finisher for FAU, tying for 47th place. Fellow sophomore Tommy Suri shot the lowest round on Sunday, with his third-round 75 propelling him to the second-best finish on the team (t57th).
Oklahoma City won the tournament with a three-round team score of 896. Texas-San Antonio (906) and Ball State (913) finished second and third, respectively.
