Men's Golf Looks to Rebound in El Diablo

Ocala, FL - The FAU men's golf team will look to rebound from a fifth place tie in last weekend's Geico Direct Spring Invitational when competition tees off in this weekend's El Diablo Intercollegiate.

The Owls finished in a fifth place tie in a field of seven at the Geico Direct Spring Invitational at Savannah, GA Sunday. The finish was still an improvement over the previous tournament, where they finished 12th.

Sophomore Tommy Suri was once again a bright spot for FAU, as he posted scores of 78, 78, and 74 to finish in a sixth place tie among individuals (230). Ben Gardner recorded the next best finish with a 16th place tie (79, 79, 79 - 237).

The El Diablo Intercollegiate will be held all weekend, with the FAU men's team competing on Saturday and Sunday in Ocala, FL. The FAU women's golf team will compete in the same tournament Monday and Tuesday at Citrus Springs, FL.
