Men's Golf Finishes First Among Fourteen at Don Benbow Invitational
Clint Wilhelm Finished in Fourth-Place

BOCA RATON, FL - Florida Atlantic University held onto their first-place finish from the first round of Butler University's Don Benbow Invitational, taking the win after the second and final round this afternoon. The Owls carded rounds of 289 and 293 to finish with a total score of 582 (+6).

Redshirt senior Clint Wilhelm was the top finisher for Florida Atlantic, carding a total score of 143 (-1). Alex Gatesfinished just two strokes behind Wilhelm with a total 145 taking the seventh-place finish.

Richard Donegan carded rounds of 72 and 75 (+3) to finish in 10th-place, and Airik Medinisrounds out the Owls' top-20 finishers, tying for 12th with a total score of 148 (+4).

This is Florida Atlantic's second win of the season. The team took first-place at the Gary Freeman BCU Spring Invitational in February.

FAU will travel to Howey-In-The-Hills, Florida to compete in the Mission Inn Spring Spectacular on Sunday, March 17, before coming home to host the FAU Spring Break Championship on March 29-31 at the Fountains Country Club in Lake Worth.
