Richard Donegan Finished Round Two with 7-Under-Par 137

HOUSTON, TX - The Florida Atlantic men's golf team took the lead after day one of the Rice Intercollegiate at Westwood Golf Club on Monday. After finishing round one in second, with four individuals in the top-20, the Owls took the lead in round two with 4-under-par 572.

Richard Donegan was the Owls' top performer tying for 10th place in round one and giving a standout performance finishing round two in first with 7-under-par 137. The freshman tied for first on the player leader board for the day.

Alex Gates, Derron Peyton, and Airik Medinis finished in the top-20. Gates and Peyton tied for ninth both contributing 145 to the Owls for day one. Medinis tied for 18th shooting 74 in round two and contributing 146 overall.

FAU continued play on February 5 to finish the Rice Intercollegiate.
