Scott Kennedy begins his first season as the assistant coach of the Florida Atlantic University men's golf team. He was a three-year letterwinner for the Owls from 2000-03, participating in 26 tournaments during that span. He finished second on the team in scoring average two out of three years.

Kennedy received a bachelor's degree in accounting from FAU in 2003.
