04/25/2012 Men's Golf Finishes Eighth at SBC ChampionshipsGerboles-Parrilla drops just out of top 10 04/24/2012 Gerboles-Parrilla Still in the Hunt In the SBC ChampionshipsFreshman just two strokes behind leader, in a tie for third 04/23/2012 Gerboles-Parrilla Tied For Second After Opening Round of SBC ChampionshipsFreshman shoots 1-over-par to lead Owls 04/23/2012 Men's SBC Golf Championships Begins TodayWilhelm, Thompson, Baskovich, Kidd and Gerboles-Parrilla makes up group 04/15/2012 Two Freshmen Are Team Leaders For Men's Golf in Final TuneupHoch, Kidd each shoot even-par to lead team over Marquette Junior (2010-11): Played in every tournament this season and led the Owls in two of them... shot a season low three round total of 220 at the Spring Break Championship which FAU finished second at only behind OSU... best finish was at the Bethune-Cookman Invitational where he tied for second place... shot a season low round of 70 at the Mission Inn Intercollegiate. Sophomore (2009-10): Earned two top 10 finishes, highlighted by a second place finish in a dual match against Rutgers with a two-under-par round of 70...placed fourth to help FAU win the Bethune-Cookman tournament during the fall schedule with three even par rounds...carded a season-low round of 69 during the Spring Break Championship at Gleneagles Country Club...finished season with the fifth lowest scoring average at just under 75 strokes per round. Freshman (2008-09): Made an immediate impact to FAU by playing in all four fall tournaments...earned a third place finish with two even par rounds of 72 at the Nova Southeastern Shark Invite at the PGA National Course in Palm Beach Gardens...finished in the top 15 in three of four tournaments...captured medalists honors in a dual meet with the University of Dayton with a round of 73...carded a round of 74 to finish third against Niagara University and placed fourth against Rutgers.
High School: Played for Josh Gilmore...all conference and all county selection four consecutive years...named player of the year as a senior...first golfer from Calvary Christian to make state championships...posted a 4.1 GPA. Personal: Business major...born in Dunedin, FL...son of Mike and Sandy Baskovich...enjoys ping pong and tennis in free time.
