Brad,
I appreciate hearing from you after so many years have passed since you were a very important member of the Louisville staff.

You are not too far away and I would kike to see you at the game. Give my best to the boys

Question from Alexander
Hi Coach!
I know right now we're focused on Troy and a possible bowl bid but I was wondering how recruiting was going. I heard FIU may have locked up as many as 15 commits but I'm not hearing much out of the FAU camp.

I see on Scout.com that for Class of 2008 we have medium interest in two 3-star athletes but no offers? And for 2009 a four-star prospect, Petey Smith?

Just wondering if we'll be moving in on these guys soon. The day we sign a four star athlete is a great day in FAU football history.

Response from Head Coach Howard Schnellenberger
Florida Atlanticís policy is not to accept offers from anybody at anytime. It is our policy to thoroughly investigate each prospect and they us. Our policy further states that losing a player in not important when the Florida pool is 350. The important ones are the prospects we select and that they have an extraordinary desire to play for Florida Atlantic. This has always been my rule as a head coach.

CONGRATS ON VICTORY TODAY.
ARE WE GOING TO SHOW TROY THAT WE ARE READY TO MOVE TOWARD A BOWL?

Response from Head Coach Howard Schnellenberger
Thank you for your note. I want to thank you and all the students, faculty, and staff for their interest in our program.

I site our game against Monroe and the overtime series, although it was a losing effort to have our great west endzone fans stay through the driving rain and to do all in their power to intimidate ULM. They stayed through the first overtime series and all that unfolded there, they relocated to the east endzone to carry out their mission and help us any way they could. And, even for the third and final over time period to move back to the west endzone for the unsuccessful final period. In that loss, a new stronger student fan base was developed through the joint effort of the students and team. Thanks again!
