Question from Joe Is recruiting without a good home field making it difficult to attract top players? That seems to be the key issue. Our neighbors to the south were able to pull in some good players after going 1-23 the past two years. But they have a nice new stadium. I would like your thoughts and honesty.
Response from Head Coach Howard Schnellenberger We have never had a class in five years at Miami, 10 years at Louisville, one year at Oklahoma, and eight years here that has been graded higher than a C. We think this class is an A class. We don’t give a hoot what Rivals, the Palm Beach Post and the New York Times think. We are the ones that succeed or fail based on our evaluation and selections.
