10 Things You Need to Know for the Marshall Game

Here are Ten Things You Need to Know about the FAU – Marshall football game on Friday, Nov. 3rd

No. 1: Kickoff is at 6 p.m. The game can be seen on CBS Sports or heard on the radio on ESPN West Palm 106.3 or the ESPN App.

No. 2: It’s Military Appreciation Day! Which means, we will honor our military service members throughout the game. Any military member or veteran may receive $5 admission with their military I.D.

No. 3: Fan Fest activities will take place just outside FAU Stadium beginning at 4 p.m. There will be a military tailgate open to all military and their family members for free in Fan Fest!

No. 4: Sticking with our military appreciation theme, we will give away FAU military themed Owlsley Bobble heads to the first 7,500 fans!

No. 5: There will be a military tailgate open to all military and their family members for free in Fan Fest from 4-6 pm.

No. 6: The Owl Walk will occur at around 4 p.m. in Lot 5, north of the stadium. Come on out and greet the FAU Owls as they arrive to FAU stadium and enter the gates. At 4:30 p.m., the FAU Band and Spirit Squads will get fans pumped up and ready for the game with the Owl Rally, outside Gates 1 and 2 of FAU Stadium. Join us for special band and dance performances and learn cheers and chants from the cheerleaders.

No. 7: Parking lots will open at 2 p.m., so make sure you give yourself plenty of time to get to the stadium. Once on campus, there will be message boards and signage directing fans to the appropriate parking lots.

No. 8: Courtesy shuttles will run continuously from the parking garages to the stadium beginning at 4 p.m. - two hours before kickoff - until one hour after the conclusion of the game. The shuttles will drop off at N. University Drive and FAU Blvd.



No. 9: Fans are heavily encouraged to purchase parking permits prior to game day by calling the FAU athletics ticket office at 1-866-FAU-Owls or visiting

No. 10: Premier Deck gates will open at 4 p.m. while General Public gates will open at 4:30 p.m. Beer will be sold throughout the stadium, but the Delray Hyundai Deck will continue to be the only location where you can purchase mixed drinks at a Tiki Bar.

Radio Coverage
All games air on ESPN West Palm 106.3 with the pregame show beginning one hour prior to kick. Ken LaVicka and FAU alum Kris Bartels will have the call.

The FAU game versus Marshall will air nationally on CBS Sports with the call coming from Dave Ryan. Corey Chavous will provide the analysis and Melanie Collins will cover the sidelines.

Coach's Radio Show -- The Huddle
LaVicka, the voice of the Owls, will be joined this week by Head Coach Lane Kiffin. Co-Defensive Coordinator, Special Teams Coordinator and Safeties Coach Corey Batoon, and graduate student Jeremiah Taleni, who leads the defensive line, also will be featured. The show will be broadcasted Wednesday night from 6 p.m. to 7 p.m., live from the Boca Raton Biergarten, and air on ESPN West Palm 106.3.

Inside the Owls' Burrow
This week's Inside the Owls' Burrow will air on Fox Sports Florida Thursday at 4 p.m. and re-air Friday at 9:30 a.m. Host Frank Forte will be joined by Running Backs Coach Kevin Smith, a `pads-off segment' with offensive lineman Reggie Bain, and 2007 team member Jarrid Smith. Here's a clip from last week's show featuring senior safety Andrew Soroh.
