Today’s practice was the start of a day many think of “Trick or Treating,” but for the Florida Atlantic Owls, it was all business. The treat was the outstanding weather and the tricks, well that is left to the playbook. Also on Tuesday, sophomore Devin Singletary was named to the College Football Performance Awards (CFPA) midseason watch list for the CFPA National Performer of the Year Trophy. He is one of 34 players listed, is the only Conference USA player listed and is one of nine running backs. Additionally, punter Ryan Rickel was recently added to the 2017 Ray Guy Watch List.
Tuesday Comments from Head Coach Lane Kiffin
"Practice was good again. A lot different than we use to report during training camp. Hopefully, we have turned the corner and stay there. Same thing I have said for two weeks now. They govern themselves, great competition (and) asked for more plays today, which is unusual at this part of the season to do. That is kinda like day one in training camp when they are all excited. It is great to see. "
