They say that your "college years" are the best years of your life, I sure hope not. The past four years have flown by too fast and have been nothing short of life-changing. I entered Florida Atlantic out of high school on a football and academic scholarship with a goal to succeed. After my freshman year, I became a husband to my beautiful wife Deja. A year and a half later, God blessed us with our daughter Skyly. A lot of people said that it couldn't be done and that starting a family in college would be damaging to my future. Five years post-high school, I am on track to graduate with a degree in civil engineering. I have an exceptional GPA and a wonderful family. So far, my years at Florida Atlantic have been the best years of my life, but I have also used my time at FAU to prepare for a better future. I am excited for better years ahead.
My Name is Jordan Sessa,
