FAU running back Charles Pierre had a solid Tuesday practice for the Owls.

The Florida Atlantic University football team returned to the practice field after a day off on Monday to begin their normal game week preparations for Saturday's game against Louisiana-Lafayette.
The offense worked on a variation of no-huddle sets in team workouts. Charles Pierre had a good day from his running back position. Out of the I-formation, he broke free for a couple of long runs during the team practice. He also caught a couple of passes in the flat for decent gains.
On the other side of the ball, the defense continued to look at Lafayette's spread option. They worked out of the nickel set, with Tavoris Hill playing the nickel back. Hill was able to step in front of a pass from the scout team for an interception. Also coming up with picks during team drills was NCAA interception leader Tavious Polo and Kris Bartels intercepted a pass off of a deflection.
