BOCA RATON, Fla. - We are having a lu-OWL in The Cove at FAU Stadium this Saturday, Oct. 12th, when the Owls play host to Conference USA foe Marshall University at 5 p.m. Join FAU football game day host Andrea Ocampo-Haley as she brings a little taste of the traditional Hawaiian party to FAU football with giveaways, contests and fun for everyone throughout the game.
The Cove is unique to FAU Stadium and is located in the area near the student section at Gate 3. The Cove combines two of the South Florida area's great loves: the beach and football! The Cove treats patrons to an environment of relaxation with lounge chairs and a cooling station and is also a prime location for promotional contests and a focal point for the video board giving fans the opportunity to showcase their spirit on the big screen.
The Cove is open to all fans but has an exclusive VIP Section for students. FAU students can register for a chance to be the VIP Section winner by clicking on The Cove icon at fausports.com or here. If chosen, the FAU student gets to host 24 of their friends in the section for a home football game. The Marshall game VIP winner is Jordan Horowitz, a junior from Manalapan, N.J. Jordan is a member of Sigma Chi fraternity and is majoring in Communication with a minor in Hospitality.
Ocampo-Haley is no rookie to sports hosting. Currently, she is preparing for her second year as In-Arena Host with the Florida Panthers. She also is a sideline reporter with Generation Nexxt Youth Sports Network, airing on FOX Sports, this fall. In addition, Ocampo-Haley is lead anchor of Inside The Orange Bowl, a collegiate football TV news show covering ACC games leading up to the Orange Bowl selection; airing on CBS 4.
