BOCA RATON, FL -
Taking a look back to get ready for what's ahead was the theme for the Florida Atlantic University football team at Thursday's practice. The squad returned to the Tom Oxley Athletic Field after using Wednesday's practice time for meetings.
"We felt the players needed a review course," said FAU head coach Howard Schnellenberger. "Tomorrow we can runt he offense and defense with more confidence and execute better. It will be more of an up-tempo practice."
Schnellenberger says Friday's practice will be `shorter but more intense,' That's because the team will take part in its first official function. Friday evening at Fort Lauderdale's Riverwalk. A pep rally will be held, beginning at 6:30 pm in which fans can meet all FAU players and coaches.
