Sept. 21, 2010

BOCA RATON, FL - Florida Atlantic University's football team returned to the practice field Tuesday after their traditional Monday off.

Tuesday began and ended with special teams work. FAU followed punt and kick-off sessions with installation of the run offense versus scout team and run defense versus the scout team before shifting into seven-on-seven. Senior starting quarterback Jeff Van Camp hit his target in senior wide receiver Lester Jean deep down field for a score. Senior speedster Willie Floyd followed it up with a long outside run.

As FAU moved into "Team" it was redshirt sophomore Graham Wilbert who hit redshirt freshman Nexon Dorvilus for the big gain. Practice ended with field goals, some made and some blocked, including a big block which was picked-up and return by Ed Alexander.

FAU will return to the practice field 3:30 p.m. Wednesday. All practices are free and open to the public. Season and single-game tickets are available by calling 1-866-FAU-Owls begin_of_the_skype_highlighting1-866-FAU-Owlsend_of_the_skype_highlighting or at www.fausports.com.
