10 Things You Need to Know for the Navy Game

BOCA RATON, Fla. - Here are Ten Things You Need to Know About the FAU -- Navy football game on Friday, Sept. 1.

No. 1: It's a RED OUT! Make sure you show your OWL spirit and come cheer on your owls in red this game! Rise in Red

No. 2: Kickoff is at 8 p.m. The game can be seen on ESPNU or heard on the radio on ESPN West Palm 106.3 or the ESPN App.

No. 3: Make sure you arrive early into the game to enjoy the giant field flag along with a Navy flyover during the National Anthem.

No. 4: We will give away limited edition Football poster to the first 5,000 fans. The first 2,000 students into the game will receive a head coaches visor.

No. 5: Fan Fest activities will take place just outside FAU Stadium beginning at 5:30 p.m. and will include activations from the Orange Bowl, Florida Panthers, Boca Bowl and displays with sampling from our Corporate Sponsors. Be sure to join the fun!

No. 6: The Owl Walk will occur at around 6 p.m. in Lot 5, north of the stadium. Come on out and greet the FAU Owls as they arrive to FAU stadium and enter the gates.

No. 7: At 6:30 p.m., the FAU Band and Spirit Squads will get fans pumped up and ready for the game with the Owl Rally, outside Gates 1 and 2 of FAU Stadium. Join us for special band and dance performances and learn cheers and chants from the cheerleaders.

No. 8: Parking lots will open at 4 p.m., so make sure you give yourself plenty of time to get to the stadium. Once on campus, there will be message boards and signage directing fans to the appropriate parking lots.

No. 9: Courtesy shuttles will run continuously from the parking garages to the stadium beginning at 4 p.m. - two hours before kickoff - until one hour after the conclusion of the game. The shuttles will drop off at N. University Drive and FAU Blvd.

No. 10: Premier Deck gates will open at 6 p.m. while General Public gates will open at 6:30 p.m. Beer will be sold throughout the stadium, but the Delray Hyundai Deck will continue to be the only location where you can purchase mixed drinks at a Tiki Bar.
