Florida Atlantic University's football team completed its first 2013 two-a-day, Friday.

The day began with breakfast at 7 a.m. with the team hitting the field at 8:45 a.m. After two hours of on-the field work, the day was just beginning for a team that is preparing to make waves in Conference USA.

The morning session was highlighted by two things. The first was a visit from the Delray Beach Boys & Girls Club. The second was a 40+ yard pass from incoming freshman DJ Juste to classmate Kalib Woods for a score. While the race to the top of the depth chart is well underway the underclassmen are pushing hard for a spots as well.

The Owls used some of the time between practices to move from preseason housing to their fall dorm rooms and then returned to the practice fields for a 6:30 p.m. workout. The evening practice saw Martese Jackson prove his merit with catches out of the backfield and long runs.

Tickets for the FAU versus the University of Miami game, as well as FAU 2013 season tickets, can be purchased through the FAU Ticket Office by calling 1-866-FAU-Owls.
