BOCA RATON, Fla. - In the Florida Atlantic University football team's second two-a-day of the fall, the Owls got their first reps at FAU Stadium.

In the helmet-only practice at the stadium, William Dukes and Jenson Stoshak made back-to-back grabs downfield from Greg Hankerson for big yardage. Hankerson also tacked on a long rush on a scramble out of the backfield.

The defensive backs continued to shine as Reggie Brown recorded a pass breakup. Soon after, freshman Raekwon Williams made a stellar breakup of his own, drawing a pat on the helmet from FAU Head Coach Charlie Partridge.

The Owls will hold a closed practice on Saturday before wrapping up two-a-days on Monday.

FAU football will open the 2014 season on Saturday, Aug. 30 at the University of Nebraska, with the game broadcast on the Big Ten Network. The Owls home season will kick-off on Saturday, Sept. 13 at 7 p.m. versus Tulsa at FAU Stadium, which will be televised by Fox College Sports.
