The City of Miramar and the Miramar High School IB Program hosted "Meet Your Neighbors At Kidz Day." There was food, a DJ spinning music, celebrity sports guests, human checkers, bounce houses, face painting, and sand art at the event. In addition, the Miramar High School Band, Majorettes, and Flagettes presented a feature performance.
