The Florida Atlantic University football team will have four games featured in Conference USA’s broadcast schedule as part of the C-USA and Sinclair Broadcast Group agreement, as announced by C-USA today.
The first FAU game that falls under this agreement will be on Saturday, Oct. 18 at noon, when the Owls play host to Western Kentucky University. The Saturday, Nov. 1 game at 7 p.m. features UAB at FAU, and will be the second game produced by Sinclair. The only away contest that is part of this package is the FAU at Middle Tennessee State University game on Saturday, Nov. 22 with a 7 p.m. scheduled kickoff. The final of the four Sinclair games is FAU’s final regular-season home game featuring Old Dominion at FAU Stadium on Saturday, Nov. 29 at noon.
Currently, 11 of the Owls’ 12 games are scheduled for broadcast: Saturday, Aug. 30 at 3:30 p.m. at Nebraska on BTN.; Saturday, Sept. 6 at noon at Alabama on SEC Network; Saturday, Sept. 13 at 7 p.m. vs. Tulsa on FCS; Saturday, Sept 20 at 4 p.m. at Wyoming on Mountain West Network; Saturday, Oct. 2 at 7 p.m. at FIU on FSN; Saturday, Oct. 18 at noon vs. Western Kentucky on Sinclair; Saturday, Oct. 25 at 7 p.m. at Marshall on FCS; Saturday, Nov. 1 at 7 p.m. vs. UAB on Sinclair; Saturday, Nov. 8 at 7 p.m. at North Texas on FCS; Saturday, Nov. 22 at 7 p.m. at Middle Tennessee on Sinclair; and vs. Old Dominion on Saturday, Nov. 29 at noon on Sinclair.
Sinclair owns and operates programs and provides sales services to 162 television stations in 78 markets, reaching approximately 40 percent of U.S. television households. It includes FOX, ABC, CBS, MyTV, CW, NBC, Univision and Azteca affiliates. The agreement encompasses an extensive slate of live, local sporting events, including football, basketball, soccer and other sports with the opening of this year’s college football season. Thirty C-USA football games will be televised on Sinclair stations.
These exclusive games will be broadcast across different regions of the country. Additional content also will be televised, such as the “C-USA Showcase” – the league’s 30-minute weekly program that offers a number of highlights and features about the Conference.
