The Florida Atlantic University football team started the final week of spring practice outside the Tom Oxley Athletic Center.
FAU went through indo, seven-on-seven and a longer set of team drills. The second team offense, led by Jeff VanCamp and Graham Wilbert got more snaps. The defense stood out, as on the first play of first and 10 drills, Erick McIntosh stepped in front of a VanCamp pass for an interception. Later in team workouts, Antonio Rodriguez pounced on a couple of deflections for pickoffs. The Owls worked on field goals during the end of practice. Ross Gornall took snaps from the left and right hash marks and nailed short field goals.
The Owls return to practice Wednesday, April 15 and Friday, April 17 at 3:30 p.m. on both days. Attendance is free and open to the public.
