Head Coach Charlie Partridge

March 12, 2014

Coach Partridge Presser

The Florida Atlantic University football team held its first practice of the Charlie Partridge era this morning.

Not only did the players work under the direction of a new coach, they worked with eight new position coaches. The quarterbacks were the lone unit that was afforded the opportunity to work with a familiar coach, Brian Wright.

The Owls worked just under two hours on individual drills, unit drills and even team work, while adhering the helmet acclimation period.

FAU will host an open scrimmage 1 p.m., Saturday, Mar. 22 and the 2014 Spring Game will be 1 p.m., Saturday, April 5. Both events are free of charge and will be held in the FAU Football Stadium, 777 Glades Rd, Boca Raton.

Football season tickets are on sale and can be purchased by calling 1-866-FAU-Owls. FAU will open the 2014 season on Saturday, Aug. 30 at the University of Nebraska. Click here to view the pre-spring press conference.
