BOCA RATON - Another first was reach Monday afternoon on the Tom Oxley Practice Fields. Florida Atlantic University's football team completed its first day of Spring conditioning drills.
Eighty plus players participated in a lighter workout than what is expected in the days to come. The players, guided by assistant coaches and Keith Klahold, the strength and conditioning coach, began with a 12 minute run. Two 30 yard shuttles under a minute followed. Six sets of a 10-yard jog, an eighty-yard sprint, and a 10 yard-jog concluded practice.
The team will work on speed and agility 6:30 am, Tuesday.
