2001: Member of the travel squad as a true freshman...did not see time therefore was able to use the year as a redshirt season...was 18-28 for 167 yards in the Gold-Blue spring game.

High School: Was a two way lineman for Bud Hodgens at Robinson High School...was a two-year starter...recovered three fumble recoveries and forced another...in less than 100 defensive snaps, he recorded 23 tackles, five for a loss, two were sacks and he was credited for hurrying the quarterback seven times...two passes broken up, and forced one fumble... named the Robinson High School lineman of the year in 2001 and 2002...named defensive MVP of Hillsborough County... participated in the Hillsborough County All-Star game where he had three sacks and earned the West defensive MVP honors...he is a two-time all-conference selectee, was named St. Petersburg Times All-County as both a junior and as a senior...also earned all-county honors by the Tampa Tribune for his senior season... his time at offensive tackle is what attracted FAU.
